2011 NDC Evaluation Workshop

Between 3 and 7 October 2011, NIEP will host the 2011 NDC Evaluation Workshop, organized at Bucharest by the Provisional Technical Secretariat (PTS) of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) in cooperation with the Government of Romania.
Objectives:

- to provide a forum for NDC experts to share experience in fulfilling their verification responsibilities

- to provide NDC feedback to the PTS on all aspects of the data, products, services and support NDCs in their work.
Topics:
The 2011 NDC Evaluation Workshop will focus on four areas:

(a) The results of the 2010 NDC Preparedness Exercise and plans for the subsequent exercises

(b) Review of previous NDC workshop recommendations

(c) PTS data, products, services and support
-
(d) Data fusion concepts and services, and their importance to the NDC mission
